The MHEV technology uses a 48-volt main electrical system with a belt alternator starter (BAS) and a compact lithium-ion battery. This system allows the Q7 to coast with the engine off for up to 40 seconds, recaptures energy during braking, and enables a smoother, more efficient engine start/stop function, contributing to improved fuel economy.

The Black Edition trim level enhances the S line specification with a more aggressive and distinctive look. Key exterior and interior features include:

A black styling pack is applied to the radiator grille frame, window surrounds, roof rails, and door mirrors for a stealthy appearance.

It includes a "sport" version of the adaptive air suspension, which lowers the body by 15mm to offer a blend of a composed ride and more responsive handling.

The cabin benefits from an upholstery upgrade to premium Valcona leather, black inlays, a full-length panoramic sunroof, and an extended ambient lighting package with customisable colours.

A flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel is also part of the package.

Interior and technology wise:
It offers a spacious cabin with seven seats as standard, featuring electrically adjustable and heated front sport seats.

The Audi Virtual Cockpit (a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster) and the dual-screen MMI Navigation Plus system with MMI Touch (an upper 10.1-inch infotainment display and a lower 8.6-inch climate control screen) provide a seamless digital experience.

With all seven seats in place, the boot capacity is about the same as a small family car, but folding the third row (electrically operated) reveals a generous 780 litres of space.
